BUCS have two main sections of rules and regulations; General Rules and Regulations[1] and Sport Specific Rules and Regulations[2]. The general rules include information on eligibility, conditions of play, results, match officials, fixture administration, disputes, misconduct and representatives sport (regs 2-20). It is your responsibility as a student athlete to be familiar with both sets of regulations.

Failure to adhere to any of the BUCS rules and regulations can lead to any of the following sanctions, this will be determined by the BUCS office directly;

• BUCS Points Deduction (Minimum of 20 Points)

• Disqualification from a competition or league

• Championship – 1 walkover = £750 fine

• Fines of varying amounts, which can range up to £1000 if deemed appropriate

These sanctions are detailed within Appendix 9 on the BUCS rules and regulations page [3]
